∽ WHEN OUR LAMPS ARE FILED WITH LIGHT ∼

Do you know what the lamp is of your body? What if your lamp is not shining light but darkness? God teaches on how to look with our eyes so we can love each other like Yeshua (Jesus) did.

πŸ™Ÿ (MATTHEW 6:22-26) The lamp of the body is the eye. Then if your eye is pure, all your body is light. But if your eye is evil (lusting), all your body is dark. If, then, the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! No one is able to serve two masters; for either he will hate the one, and he will love the other; or he will cleave to the one, and he will despise the other. You are not able to serve YHWH and mammon (wealth/gain/self interest/the things of this world). Because of this, I say to you, Do not be anxious for your soul, what you eat and what you drink, nor for your body, what you put on. Is not life more than the food and the body than the clothing? Observe the birds of the heaven, that they do not sow, nor do they reap, nor do they gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Do you not rather excel them?

These words can help us understand the correct way to look and respond. It is easy to respond in the right way at things we perceive as good. But when someone does wrong to us, do we then react according Gods Spirit or our flesh? It is important to respond at others the right way, also when the other says or does something wrong. This can only be if we give our mind to God and work with Him to let it be totally changed. Apart from God this will never happen. God did sent His Son to this world and we can look at Him to understand what a new mind is like. (PHI 2:2-15) Yeshua the Messiah looked not for His own gain but came to serve. And likewise we should not look for our own gain but to serve the other, to help them to come closer to YHWH…

πŸ™Ÿ (1 JOHN 4:10-11) In this is love, not that we loved YHWH, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the atonement for our sins. Beloved, if YHWH so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

…Sometimes I meditate about how YHWH and His Son served me and was long suffering toward me when I was going my own selfish way. When we see how we were treated by Him when we were doing something wrong, how should we then treat others?

It are two very different things to look at Sodom and Gomorrah with their detestable doings or to look at the children of Israel in the dessert when they were perfect and the presence of the most High was in their midst (GEN 18:20, NUM 22:19-21).

Balaam saw the children of Israel in the dessert when they were perfect but sought a way to curse them for their destruction.Abraham saw Sodom and Gomorrah with their detestable doings and he responded with pleading for there lives.
DARKNESSLIGHT

The thoughts in these man’s hearts, made, how they looked with their eyes. Balaam wanted for himself also reward (mammon), he was serving two masters, double minded (JUG 1:11, 2PET 2:15).  Abraham on the other hand was not looking to serve himself but others, and was risking his own (GEN 18:32).

The way we look at the things said or done by others, fills us with light (good thoughts) or it will bring darkness (corrupt thoughts) inside of us.

Balaam saw light (obedient Israel) but for his own gain sought to curse them. To get his reward he told Balak what he could do to make them sin (REV 2:14).When Abraham saw darkness (understood the wickedness of Sodom and Gomorrah) he was looking for a way to bless them.
DARKNESSLIGHT

πŸ™Ÿ (1 CORINTHIANS 10:24) Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s.
πŸ™Ÿ (EPHESIANS 5:21) …subjecting yourselves to each other in the fear of God.
πŸ™Ÿ (1 CORINTHIANS 13:5) …it (love) does not behave indecently, does not pursue its own things, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil;
πŸ™Ÿ (JAMES 5:9) Do not murmur against one another, brothers, that you not be condemned. Behold, the Judge stands before the door.

May the Most High give us understanding even in the details of our looking and thinking.

Shalom in Messiah
